Santa will have some backup singers this year.

With Thanksgiving rapidly approaching (and it is not even Halloween yet!), things have been very active in the workshop. Four songs are now done, yard chasers are done, Mrs. Claus, Rudolph and the elf are done, and Santa is getting a face lift since the solder joints started falling apart and many lights were out.

A new addition this year are yard chasers. First, I picked up a few boxes of these:

These are only 18" tall, but with the snow we get every year, I need then a little taller. I have about 50 of these:

so I cut off the hook and used the mast as a stem for the lights. After taking the lights apart, some slight modifications were needed to the original stub that is inserted into the ground stake so it would fit into the new candy cane stem:

Now onto separating the connected lights into individual lights and assemble everything together.
